The BEST HUSKY ADVENTURE with Husky Park in the heart of Santa Claus Village, Rovaniemi!
In the past few years, I have had the opportunity to visit a couple of husky farms and experience husky rides on wheels, both riding them and sitting on the sled, in different parts of Finland. My favorite place is HUSKY PARK!
Before I continue, let me tell you, I'm not a dog person, but for some reason, I make an exception with the huskies! Now, there are things I love about this place:
1. The location (In the heart of Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi)
2. The size of the kennels
3. The husky HUGGING AREA
4. The staff.
With this information, you can have a bigger picture of why I love this place. So, let's dive into the activities you can do here:
Experiences range from 1 km to 5 km and 2 hours.
For the experience, 1 km is enough. The sight of dogs running through snow-covered trees is magical.
Note: the huskies reach about 35 km/h during racing, but the rest of the trip is slower, at 15-20 km/h. If possible, protect your eyes with glasses & wear gloves for warmth, especially if you want to record videos, it gets colder with the speed!
